Land Locked Beach Promises Seaside Fun

If you live in land locked splendour but struggle to get to the seaside then worry not, Nottingham City Council and Mellors Group have announced the return of the much loved city centre beach to Old Market Square on Monday, July 25th.

Not only is the beach the perfect place to sit back and relax this summer, but guests can also enjoy their favourite rides and games, as well as experiencing the brand-new Giant Slip n’ Slide. The attraction – ideal for a day out - features ‘The Arrow’, a 55m two lane slide where guests can face off one and one.

In a group? Nottingham Beach has you covered! Take the plunge down ‘Little John’, a huge six lane slide 22m long, meaning the whole family can battle it out!

Another thrill-seeking attraction guests can enjoy includes The Starflyer – which soars 40m into the sky. The ride rotates riders in every direction whilst swinging in the air, offering scenic panoramic views.

There will also be a host of activities to take part in across the summer months, including kids’ beach football, salsa lessons, beach volleyball and live music every weekend.

Nottingham Beach returns Monday, July 25th until September 4th. Please see opening hours below:
