A new business support service is being launched to the professional sector by a Yorkshire law firm.

Hull-based SJP Law believe there are many owner managed business in the professional sector that would benefit from their comprehensive bespoke outsourcing service.

"Life can be tough for smaller businesses who can't afford to employ skilled and experienced staff to carry out so many essential tasks within the business," said SJP law director Alistair Latham.

"It results in owners and directors spending valuable time on admin when they could be earning fees.

"Our new service will provide an affordable alternative and give firms access to our huge range of skills and expertise built up particularly over the last few years."

The new service is aimed at owner managed law firms as well as other professional service firms such as barristers, accountants, surveyors, architects and engineers.

Mr Latham explained: "We will help free-up business leaders' time by dealing with day to day tasks, and assisting with regulation issues, as well as providing effective strategies for business growth.

"The last few years have been particularly difficult for small law firms. We know exactly the problems they face and we have tried and tested solutions to offer them.

"Sadly, businesses in our region are failing not through lack of profitability but because of poor cash flows. We can put systems in place to resolve this very quickly.

"A vibrant legal sector is extremely important for the future of the local economy and we are convinced we can make a significant difference to law firms and professional service businesses."
