Leeds Community Foundation Appoints First Chief Operating Officer

Leeds Community Foundation has appointed its first Chief Operating Officer as the organisation continues its philanthropic work to make both Leeds and Bradford fairer places to live.
Alex Ellis-White joined Leeds Community Foundation in May, bringing more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications and engagement, project management and business transformation roles in the public, private and third sectors. Having previously held the position of Communications Business Partner at NHS Digital for ten years, Ellis-White is passionate about innovation and the use of technology to improve lives.
Ellis-White is also founder and chief executive of volunteer-run charity Better Giving Partnership, which runs the Givto charity fundraising service he devised. He previously volunteered as Director within the commercial arm of Voluntary Action Leeds, supporting third sector organisations across the city.
