Less Than Two Weeks To Beat 18% Price Hike

Drinks packages on Ambassador Cruises will increase by 18% on September 1st, giving would-be cruisers just days to beat the price hike if they book by the end of August.

The line says it has absorbed price increases for as long as possible and, while it continued to seek further efficiencies, the need to implement the increase was now paramount.

A spokesman said: “With inflation at a record high we have absorbed various cost increases and continue to seek further efficiencies, however, we need to implement an 18% increase on our drinks packages from 1st September 2023,(so that we can) maintain our standards and quality services.

“The situation is far from ideal…..(however), we highly recommend booking one of our onboard drinks packages, which include service charges and gratuities before the price increase.”
