Life’s A Beach – SPOTLIGHT ON THE ELVI SKIATHOS HOTEL

With the recent news that a Covid vaccine may well be just around the corner, 2021 ‘foreign’ holidays (and sunshine!) may soon be back at the top of the menu. So, here’s one to consider:

ELIVI SKIATHOS HOTEL, Greece

The ELIVI SKIATHOS is located on arguably the best spot of this Greek island, perched on a hilltop on the Pounta Peninsula overlooking the Aegean Sea
in an area of natural beauty, surrounded by a wildlife refuge, evergreen pine forest and lagoon. The family-owned property was developed by father and daughter Elias and Vivi Nathanailidi.

The family-owned hotel offers direct walking access to no fewer than four beaches - Big Banana, Little Banana, Ampelakia and Koukounaries. Each one is a white-sand idyll with mattress thick sunbeds galore overlooking the deliciously clear Aegean Sea, cooled by the sea breeze and bathed in Mediterranean sunlight.
The hotel is separated into three distinct accommodation areas, well spread-out across its 213 acres. ELIVI Xenia Hotel features 32 rooms on a hilltop overlooking lush greenery and the Aegean Sea, 67 Elivi Grace Rooms & Suites sit directly on Ampelakia beach and 61 Nest Rooms, Villas and Suites lay dotted amongst pine trees and olive groves.
Rates at ELIVI SKIATHOS start from €286 (£252 approx.) per night based on two people sharing a room. (www.elivihotels.com, +30 24274 40900)
