Over 350 Tonnes Of Sand Brings A New Beach To York

Over 350 tonnes of golden sand brings the beach even closer to York this Summer at Piglets Adventure Farm.

The new Beach attraction features acres of sand and water fun with a specially designed water and rock area to promote children playing together.

The attraction also includes a Lifeguard Play Tower, Giant Deck Chair, Hammock Swings and Café serving ice cream and milkshakes. There’s even a choice of 11 beautiful beach huts to hire for the day, each named after a famous location on the Yorkshire Coast.

Said Edward Sykes, Owner of Piglets Adventure Farm:
“We wanted to bring the beach to York, providing a safe and fun environment for little piggy’s to enjoy without having to travel to the coast. Our Beach is open all Summer whatever the weather- our team have worked really hard to plan and build the new area of the park and we’re so excited to finally share it with our visitors!”

Elsewhere on the farm visitors can join in the end of day Foam Party, watch Pig Racing and explore the Maize Maze Challenge plus take part in all of the usual adventure farm fun at the farm park’s popular Summer Fun event.
