Going up in that final and scraping through the semi, I knew I had to find something in my legs that I hadn't seen before.
Ellesse Andrews is world champion, she has demonstrated today that she is so strong and all of the other girls in that final, we’re the strongest girls in the world that’s why we are in the Olympic final and to even be there next to one of my best friends Katy Marchant [who finished fourth for Team GB] was such a pinch me moment.
To get a bronze medal, it literally feels like gold to me because I left everything out there on the track.
If you told me a year ago I’d be coming to the Olympics and getting a gold in track sprint and then bronze in keirin, I would've been like ‘no way’ but here I am.
That bronze medal means everything to me. It was so so hard but it was worth it. Emma Finucane

I still can't believe it, really it's crazy.
Today was all about winning races, if you don't win the races then you're not going to win so that's how I approached the day.
The first race was really close but I just about managed to get in front and stay in front and it was the same again for the second race.
I don’t really feel anything at the moment. I’m so completely overwhelmed I don’t feel anything because I can’t believe what’s happened.
My goal was to medal. I knew that if I had the right week I could win but it was going to need everything to align. I felt like at the beginning of the week I didn’t have great luck. There were a few races I was leading that were abandoned. But I feel like my luck came around a bit today. Ellie Aldridge
On her decision to use the 15m kite as opposed to the 21m:
Everyone was on 21s out there I was the only one on a 15 but I just felt like it wasn't the right thing for me.
I trusted my gut, went for the 15 and it worked out it was the right thing to do. Ellie Aldridge

I’ve realised that when I step out of this pool, I am more importantly Grace the person, and she needs to be taken care of.
When I’m feeling confident in myself and when I take care of Grace, I dive well. I’ve learned that’s something I need to monitor and take care of. I didn’t realise how much I needed those social connections.
For me, just being able to give my mum a hug, see my friends and family for a diet coke – it sounds so simple but it’s something that gives me so much value and helps me recharge emotionally.
I’ll have a very quiet evening – I’ve got another ice bath booked – I’ll relax, refresh, refuel, rest and go out and get a coffee with my family and boyfriend to actually be a human being for a little bit and decompress. Grace Reid
We’re two northern souls who’ve come together, it’s great to have Louie in the team, he’s the future. It's’ great to have him take the baton from the older guys – it’ll be my last Olympics, maybe Nethaneel’s [Mitchell-Blake], but these guys are the future and it’s an honour to share the track with them. Richard Kilty, Athletics
I’ve only been in the Village for a day visit. With Team GB, we’re staying offsite. I did get a little sneak peek of the Village and the excitement was pretty high. We have a couple other sports where we’re staying with Team GB. It’s definitely not distracting - if anything it’s motivating for us to be involved with other guys, seeing them thrive.
Also seeing their positive attitude when they’re not thriving, that inspires us. Team GB is like a family. We all try to be positive with each other and treat each other with a lot of respect. It’s definitely not a distraction, if anything it’s been a big motivation for us. Charlie Brown, Modern Pentathlon
