Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And The Humber – 23 September To 29 September
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 20 September and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

M621 junction 1 Beeston to junction 3 Holbeck
The clockwise carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 23 September for survey work. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 35a Stocksbridge
The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 24 September for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 31 Aston
The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Friday 27 September for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M18 junction 6 Thorne
The northbound and southbound exit slip road will be closed for the UCI world championships. The closure will take place between 7am and 10am and then again 1pm and 3.30pm, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 37 Howden to junction 38 North Cave
The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 23 September for carriageway improvement work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 32 Castleford
The westbound entry and exit slip road will be fully closed overnight on Friday 27 September for general cleaning and maintenance. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 27 to junction 28
The westbound M62 will be closed overnight between junctions 27 and 28 from tonight (Friday 20 September) to Monday 23 September due to waterproofing work. During the daytime two of the four lanes will be open with a 50mph speed limit, while the other two will be closed.

M62 junction 26 Chain Bar to junction 27 Gildersome
The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights on Monday 23 September and then again Friday 27 September for carriageway improvements. The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights on Wednesday 25 September for the same reason. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can use clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 28 Tingley to junction 27 Gildersome
The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights on Monday 23 September for bridge work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 33 to Junction 34 Whitley
The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be in narrow lanes with lane 3 closed and a 50 mph speed limit until the end of September.

M180 junction 2 Woodhouse to junction 3 Midmoor
The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be in full contraflow with a 50mph speed restriction until the end of the month.

A64 Tadcaster Ings
The westbound exit slip road will be fully closed during the day on Friday 27 September for the UCI world championships. The closure will take place between 9am and 11.30am and then again 2.30pm and 4.30pm, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1(M) junction 34 Blyth to junction 35 Wadworth
The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 23 September for barrier repairs. The closure will take place between 10pm and 6am and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1(M) junction 36 Warmsworth to junction 37 Marr
The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 25 September for barrier repairs. The closure will take place between 10pm and 6am, with clearly signed diversions in place.

The eastbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 23 September for barrier improvement work. This runs from 8pm to 6am, with clearly signed diversions in place.

A63 Mytongate to Brighton Street
The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Thursday 26 September for carriageway improvement work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, with clear diversions for drivers.

A63 Western Interchange to Mytongate
The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Monday 23 September for carriageway improvement work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
