Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And The Humber – Summary For Monday 17 February To Sunday 23 February

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 14 February and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

M621 Gildersome to junction 1

There will be a lane two overnight closure in both directions between M621 Gildersome and junction 1 tonight (Friday 14 February) and tomorrow (Saturday 15 February) for the safe removal of lighting columns. The closures run from 8pm to 6am.

M1 Woolley Services

The northbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February for survey work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 junction 7 Stourton

The anti-clockwise and clockwise exit slip road will be fully closed overnight on Saturday 22 February for junction improvement work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversion routes. The clockwise exit slip road will have a 24/7 lane 1 closure until later this month due to junction improvement work.

M621 junction 7 Stourton

The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 17 February for junction improvement work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, with clearly signed diversions in place.

M621 junction 4 Hunslet

The anti-clockwise exit slip road will be fully closed overnight Tuesday 18 February for electrical work, as will the anti-clockwise entry slip road the following night. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M621 junction 4 Hunslet

The clockwise entry slip road will be fully closed overnight Friday 21 February for electrical work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 36 to junction 37 Howden

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Sunday 23 February for bridge work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. The eastbound and westbound carriageway will have 24/7 lane 3 closures with a 50mph speed limit until March.

M62 junction 25 Brighouse

The eastbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February for bridge work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62/A162 junction 33 Ferrybridge

The A162 northbound exit and entry slip road will be closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 19 February. The A162 southbound exit and entry slip will be closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February and then again for four nights from Thursday 20 February.

The M62 junction 33 eastbound entry slip will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February and then again for four nights from Thursday 20 February, and the M62 junction 33 eastbound exit slip will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 19 February. The west side of the roundabout will be closed overnight on Wednesday 19 February then the east side closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February and then again for four nights from Thursday 20 February.

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February and then again for four nights from Thursday 20 February. The westbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 19 February. This is for barrier work and carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. The roundabout and all approaches will have a 40mph speed restriction with 24/7 lane closures from 21 February to March.

M62 junction 31 Normanton

The eastbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 18 February for barrier work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M180 junction 3 to junction 1 Tudworth

There will be a 24/7 lane 1 closure and full slip road closure junction 2 westbound entry slip road until February.

M180 junction 1 to junction 2 Woodhouse

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Thursday 20 February for carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. There will be a 24/7 lane 1 closure eastbound and westbound until end of February.

A180 Stallingborough to Brockelsby

The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Monday 17 February for barrier work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1 Barnsdale Bar to Redhouse

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Wednesday 19 February for carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

From Friday 21 February the southbound carriageway will be running single lane with a 50mph speed limit between the two junctions

A63 South Cave

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for five nights from Monday 17 February for carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A63 Brighton Street to Western Interchange

The westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 17 February for carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Knapton

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be in narrow lanes until March for junction improvements.

A64 Askham Bryan

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for five nights from Monday 17 February for carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Seamer to Dunslow

The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 17 February for carriageway improvements. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A64 Malton to Staxton

The eastbound and westbound will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Monday 17 February for carriageway improvements.The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
