Planned Roadworks In Yorkshire And The Humber – Summary For Monday 8 July To Sunday 14 July
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 5 July and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M621 junction 3 Holbeck to M1 junction 43 Rothwell

The clockwise carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 8 July for barrier work. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversion routes. The clockwise carriageway will be in narrow lanes from M621 junction 6 to junction 7 with a 40mph speed restriction, and the anticlockwise carriageway will be in narrow lanes from M621 junction 7 to junction 6 with a 50mph speed limit until September.

M1 junction 35a Stocksbridge

The northbound exit slip road will be fully closed overnight for two nights from Monday 8 July for carriageway improvements. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 31 Aston

The southbound exit and entry slip roads will be fully closed overnight on Friday 12 July for general cleaning and maintenance. The closure runs from 8pm to 6am, with clearly signed diversion routes in place.

M62 junction 33 to junction 34 Whitley

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 July for barrier improvements. This runs from 8pm to 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes. From Friday 12 July the eastbound and westbound carriageways will be in narrow lanes, with lane 3 closed and a 50mph speed restriction in place, until October.

M62 junction 26 to junction 25 Brighouse

The westbound carriageway and the M606 southbound to the M62 westbound link road will be fully closed overnight on Wednesday 10 July for technology work. This happens between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversions.

M62 junction 27 to junction 26 Chain Bar

The westbound carriageway and the M621 link to the M62 westbound will be fully closed overnight on Thursday 11 July for technology work. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can use clearly signed diversions.

M62 junction 25 to junction 26 Chain Bar

The eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 9 July due to technology work. This runs from 8pm to 6am, with clearly signed diversion routes in place.

M18 junction 4 to junction 3 St Catherines

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 8 July for carriageway improvements. This takes place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M180 junction 2 to junction 3 Midmoor

The westbound carriageway is to be fully closed overnight for two nights from Thursday 11 July for bridge work. The closure runs from 8pm to 6am, with clearly signed diversion routes in place. The eastbound and westbound carriageways will be in full contraflow with a 50mph speed limit in place until the end of September.

A1(M) junction 38 Redhouse

The southbound carriageway is to be fully closed between the slip roads overnight for five nights from Monday 8 July for carriageway improvements. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, with a clearly signed diversion in place.

A1(M) junction 36 Warmsworth

The southbound entry slip road will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 8 July for carriageway improvements. This runs from 9pm to 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversions.

A63 Mytongate to South Coates

The eastbound and westbound carriageways will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday 8 July for carriageway improvements. It runs from 8pm to 6am, and there will be clearly signed diversion routes.

The eastbound and westbound will be in narrow lanes and a 30mph speed limit will be in place 24/7 on Roger Millward Way until later this month.

A628 Flouch to Gunn Inn

The eastbound and westbound carriageways are to be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 9 July for bridge work. The closure takes place between 11pm and 6am, and drivers can follow clearly signed diversion routes. There will also be 24/7 traffic lights at Enterclough until later this month for bridge work.

A616 Flouch to Wortley

The eastbound and westbound carriageways will be fully closed overnight for three nights from Wednesday 10 July for carriageway improvements. This takes place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
