Prezzo Launch New Christmas Menu

Prezzo Restaurants have now launched their Christmas menu.

What they seem to have done is add festive twists to some of their favourite dishes so you can expect Christmas flavours such as pulled turkey, stuffing, cranberry, roast potatoes and butternut squash.

The Christmas Menu comes with 2 courses for £16.50 or 3 courses for £19.50. A lot of the dishes are already available all year on the a la Carte menu but there are some new items which are only available on the Christmas menu.

I tried the new Mozzarella in Breadcrumbs served with Cranberry sauce. Without the Cranberry sauce the Mozzarella might have been a little too bland for some but the sauce gave the cheese a real bite.

There are at least 5 new offerings on the main menu including the Cracker Calzone which comes with pulled turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, pancetta, greens, roast potatoes and butternut squash.

You might be tempted with the Garlic Mushroom Pizza or the Carbonara Al Forno or the Christmas Carbonara which comes with spaghetti, pulled turkey, crispy Prosciutto, pancetta and stuffing.

I tried the new Tre Gusti Pizza which comes with pepperoni, pulled turkey, pancetta and stuffing. It didn't say it on the menu but the pepperoni was very hot and spicy but somehow all the toppings complimented each other.

The dessert Christmas menu had the new Forest Fruits Cheesecake which comes with forest fruits compote. Indulgent and delightful the cheesecake was the perfect end to what had been a tasty and seasonal meal.

If you fancy a festive tipple then the Festive Rose Fizz (Prosecco with rose syrup) priced at £6.75 or Spiced Ginger Cooler Mocktail - a non alcoholic drink priced at £3.60 might tempt you.

This year Prezzo are working with Community Christmas - as part of the campaign over 700 events will be held across the country to make sure that no elderly person will be alone at Christmas.
