Sales Reach £1million For Christeyns Construction Division
Oscrete Construction Products and Adcrete achieved combined sales in excess of £1m during August, the first time ever the Construction Division has recorded such a figure.

Despite concerns over Brexit, the concrete additives specialist is riding the wave of the continued growth and diversification of this longstanding industry. Fueled by growth in UK markets and the acquisition of new customers in both the UK and Ireland, the record figure came as a welcome boost after over a year of hard work and internal reorganisation.

“It is due to the immense amount of hard work put in by our team that we have been able to achieve this amazing goal,” Operations Director Scott Wilson said. “We now have in place a more sustainable organisational structure which is providing a stable platform for growth and more opportunities for the team to develop.”

One key element of the new structure is the provision of increased support and added value for customers. All members of the construction division have recently completed, and successfully passed, the Institute of Concrete Technology exams in order to be better prepared to address the increasing range of customer queries and requests.

“We aim to offer a partnership, where we add value to our customer’s portfolio and can provide support in terms of engineering solutions and product enhancement. Our new telematics system takes the worry out of ordering and ensures liquid additive tanks are always at adequate levels,” continued Mr Wilson.

The firm continues to work on new product development at their lab in Bradford and looks to meet customer needs as the industry advances in terms of both its sustainability and versatility.

Oscrete’s range of quality, innovative products makes it one of the UK's leading specialist construction chemical suppliers, providing high value technical solutions for clients across the concrete industry.
