The tax, trusts and estates team of national law firm Irwin Mitchell has recruited a new solicitor to its home office in Sheffield.

Rachel Williams joins the leading national team from Co-Op Legal Services, having qualified as a solicitor in 2004. Rachel is an expert in handling a range of private client matters including wills, trusts, long-term care planning, powers of attorney and administration of estates among others.

The estate planning team focuses on providing individuals with complex advice on a complete range of planning for all stages of life but with a particular specialism in later life issues. The service includes advice on intergenerational estate and tax planning, wills, powers of attorney, care home fee issues and trust advice.

The estate planning team also recently appointed a new paralegal, Anastazia Zglobis, who is currently working towards her Cilex qualification.

Emma McCann, senior associate and head of the Sheffield estate planning team, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Rachel to the team. Our estate planning team in Sheffield now sits at 15 team members which makes us a considerable force in the private client market and which has been bolstered further with Rachel’s arrival. I’m excited to see our progress as a team here in Sheffield and nationally.”
