Strong Performance And Firmly On Track For The Full Year

Housebuilding giant, Barratt Developments, said trading has improved since the beginning of 2019 with a rise in sales and is firmly on track for the year.

The company said it was making good progress on its medium-term targets and continued to focus on driving margin improvements through the business, which are expected to deliver a modest improvement to the Board’s previous expectations for the financial year.

Britain’s largest housebuilder, which has a presence across Yorkshire, recently achieved 5 stars accreditation from the House Builders Federation (HBF) annual customer satisfaction survey, making it the only housebuilder to be awarded 5 stars for the tenth consecutive year.

Yorkshire West Sales Director, Sam Wood, said: “Overall the Group has delivered a strong operational and financial performance. We start the new calendar year in good position, with a number of popular developments in Barnsley.”
