Every year, Thank You Day brings together millions of people across the UK to celebrate and give thanks to those that go above and beyond for us. It is an opportunity to thank the people on your street, in your block of flats and all those local legends; the volunteers, teachers, carers who go the extra mile for us!

Thank You Day was celebrated in the UK for the first time in 2021. Last year 1.3million people organised a Thank You Day activity – which can be as simple as getting everyone in your block or on your street together for a 'BB-Thank-Q'.
Thank You Day began with a handful of organisations looking for a way to enable us all to say a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone and everything that helped us through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since then the campaign has grown to include hundreds of partners and an astounding 15million people have taken part in Thank You Day celebrations.
The poll also shows that more than half of us (53%) have helped out our neighbours – from assisting with DIY to putting out their bins.
This year in 2024 Thank You Day is being celebrated on Sunday 7 July so why not see what you can do and take part in one of the many events that are taking place in your area, or you could always organise your own.
