The Rise Of The Flexication

Travel companies that have historically charged for ‘flexibility’ are having to re-think their approach in a post-coronavirus environment, where travellers are starting to demand the ability to change plans without fear of financial penalty.

New research by travel companies A&K and Cox & Kings has shown than more than 80% of those surveyed cited 'flexibility without charges’ as one of the most important factors when it came to booking a new holiday in the future.

As a result both organisations have now introduced flexible booking conditions for new bookings made before September 30.

Tailor Made and Escorted Tours - Guaranteed flexibility
A&K and Cox & Kings will not charge any fees should clients choose to change to a new destination or move travel dates any time up to 35 days before departure. Clients can rebook to travel any time before December 31 2021.

If clients are unsure of their future travel plans when they need to make changes, both companies will also provide clients with a 100% travel credit, valid for travel through to December 31 2021, for bookings made by March 31 2021.

Both companies have updated their terms and conditions, with Cox & King's final payments now due just 60 days before departure instead of 90 days.

A&K Villas
A&K is working closely with each of its villa owners to negotiate more flexible terms wherever possible for those people booking a new villa holiday.
