Tom Grennan rose to fame as a guest vocalist on the Chase and Status hit When It All Goes Wrong in 2016. Since then, he has had a successful solo career due in part to a batch of radio-friendly singles that have catapulted him into the charts and gained mainstream success.

Along with his band, Grennan captivated a sold-out audience with a performance that was friendly, charming, and most of all, enjoyable. Teasing the fans that he has new material to come, Grennan relied on his stellar back catalogue to deliver a set that covered the length of his career. “I want to do this for the rest of my life,” he affirmed. If he keeps delivering hits, there is no reason why he will not be performing live for many years to come.

For every upbeat song, there was always a contrasting number to balance the set; hearing all his tracks together was a reminder of how many big hits he has scored.

The duet of Let’s Go Home Together with backing singer Angel, which was originally recorded with Ella Henderson, was soulful and emotional, while All Goes Wrong saw Grennan take centre stage again as he stalked the stage, enticing the fans to dance and jump in the air.

“Every time I come back here, I am never disappointed,” he said as the evening concluded with a Little bit of love. Grennan certainly had not disappointed with team effort of pure brilliance and a winning performance.
