Webhelp Hiring 270 Game Changers For Sheffield

Customer experience (CX) and business solutions giant Webhelp are hiring 270 passionate game changers to start their career journey with them.

Established in 2000, the company employs over 65,000 people across 50 countries at 150 customer experience hubs. Partner to hundreds of major brand names, ongoing growth of the business has led to the creation of 270 new jobs in the Sheffield area.

Looking to onboard a mix of Sales Advisers, Team Leaders and Operations Managers by the end of April 2021, those joining will become an integral part of an exciting partnership supporting a change in demand in the Retail Telecom sector.

The announcement comes at a time when many across the UK face uncertainty with Webhelp UK Region CEO David Turner explaining: "We know the pandemic has hit communities in different ways and the ensuing disruption has left many businesses unable to operate as they once had. People have sadly lost their jobs or face a reduction in the hours they can work.

"As a people first business we look forward to showing that we don’t only offer a job for now, but a genuine career opportunity. We strive to ensure our people feel engaged and inspired which is why we actively offer career pathways including the opportunity to gain externally accredited management qualifications through our structured leadership development programme. We are committed to our employees having opportunities to grow and are excited to welcome our new colleagues in Sheffield to our global community."

The addition of the new roles will see the number of people employed by Webhelp across its 3 sites in the Sheffield region increase to over 2800.

All of the roles advertised by Webhelp will be homeworking initially, with a view to moving to a hybrid home and site-based model in the future.
