It's an early Monday evening and the restaurant is practically full. Perhaps our fellow diners were here to sample the new Autumn Menu where 3 courses costs £19.95?

That was partly the answer, but Mamma Mia was on in Bradford and the theatre goers had decided to dine before the show at Zizzi. Would it be a case of I Do I Do I Do like the menu? Well, you can save a lot of Money, Money, Money with the set menu.

You might think that there was a very limited choice here on the set menu but in reality the starters have at least 7 options that range from Garlic Bread to Vegan Beetball Polpette.

The mains have tempting dishes such as King Prawn Linguine, Lemon Butter Sea Bass, Beef Brisket and Venison Tagliatelle and Rustica Sofia Pizza. There are over 15 different options.

My partner went for the Arancini served with a tomato dip. Crunchy, cheesy and completely satisfying they were nearly as good as my Garlic Bread with Mozzarella and caramelised onion which gave it an extra kick.

My new Rustica Smoky Chorizo pizza came with Chorizo salami - there was plenty of it, torn wild boar and pork meatballs, smoked mozzarella and baby sunblush tomatoes. You probably would not get a topping like this in Italy but that is their loss.

Pollo Prosciutto

My partner chose the Pollo Prosciutto - chicken breast with sage wrapped in Prosciutto ham with a tomato sauce, super green pesto and pine nuts. Tender and succulent chicken with a rich sauce.

The Passion Fruit Cheesecake was so popular that it was sold out - the winner must have took it all! - Instead I decided upon the Chocolate Melt - a very gooey chocolate pudding.

Golden Millionaire's Slice

My partner chose the Golden Millionaire's Slice - a sweet chocolate chip cookie base topped with layers of salted toffee and coconut chocolate ganache. Perhaps a little too sweet for some, but if you have a sweet tooth you will be in paradise.

Good service, good food and a warm atmosphere seemed to be The Name of The Game at the Bradford Zizzi. By the time the Mamma Mia fans had left the restaurant it was still half full with more diners coming through the door. It looks like the 3 course Autumn Set Menu for £19.95 is good value for your Money, Money, Money.
