Blancmange were sometimes seen as the poor relations to Erasure but on this re-issued album you can hear how the duo have influenced current acts like La Roux and Hot Chip.

Funnily enough Erasure's Vince Clarke has remixed some of the tracks on the album. Due to the remixes that also include ones by Greg Wilson and Derek Kaye, the album does not seem dated.

Of course their big hit from the early 80's, Living On The Ceiling is included here along with I Can't Explain and Feel Me. The album will appeal to their original fans and anyone who likes La Roux especially.

There is a brand new album planned for later this year so rather than living in the past the duo have updated this original album and are looking to the future too.
