Canine Cash-sniffing Classes To Help Brits Find Lost Money
TopCashback.co.uk, the UK’s most generous cashback shopping site, is launching new training classes for dogs – Canine Cash-sniffing Classes – to help owners find lost and misplaced cash.

Dog owners across the UK will be able to sign-up for training classes where their four-legged friend will be trained to detect the aromas of discarded copper, nickel, polymer and polyvinyl chloride acetate (credit cards and debit cards).

The classes, which are the first of their kind, are expected to help dog owners pocket an extra £325 as their pet pooch will be able to find coins hidden down the back of the sofa, fivers left in old handbags and money dropped on the pavement by other long-gone passers-by.

Dogs can be enrolled on the high-intensity training course from 1st April, and will see them running through tunnels littered with fivers, fetching pound coins that have been launched from holey-pockets and digging for credit cards.

The cashback site decided to launch the innovative classes after research found the most common feelings after misplacing or dropping money were frustration (80 per cent), misery (65 per cent) and an unsightly rage that reduced people to tears (21 per cent).

The research also concluded that finding money in public or in your home resulted in feelings of joyfulness (86 per cent), excitement (73 per cent) and going to the pub (65 per cent).

TopCashback’s Expert Dog Behaviourist, Dane Beagle, said:
“Dogs not only make great companions, but their incredibly heightened sense of smell means they can be trained to track certain smells – even cash. It’s never been thought of before, but the people at TopCashback are incredibly dedicated to making sure people save as much money as possible and have worked really hard to make these classes available.”

Adam Bullock, Director of TopCashback UK said:
“We spent a very long time looking at possible resolutions to the nationwide epidemic of lost money and found mans-best-friend has the perfect tool to put a stop to it – it’s muzzle.

"We are delighted that as of 1st April we will be able to help Brits everywhere get some of the money back they have lost over the years, but we won’t halt here. While this initiative is rolling out, we are developing virtual dogs to help sniff-out lost cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin. Plug-ins should be available to download later in the year.”
