Children's Author Visits Settle Library
Settle Library hosts author event
"There's no place like home!" declares children's author Robert Bullock as he looks forward to this week's author event in his home town of Settle.

After touring the length and breadth of the country for the past six weeks with his literacy workshops for primary schools Robert says he's glad to be home.

"I've battled through snow, sleet, hail and freezing temperatures visiting schools up and down the country this term so it's really great to be able to support the North Yorkshire Library Service and in particular Settle library with a free event this Thursday."

Robert will be reading from his books that are suitable for seven to twelve year olds, discussing his life as a children's author and telling everyone about his new novel, Jacob's War, which is published next month.

The session will take place at Settle Library on Thursday, 4th April, from 10.30am to 11.30am and it is a free session suitable for seven to twelve year-olds. For details contact 0845 034 9537.
