It’s Hedgehog Awareness Week!
How can you help hedgehogs?

Hedgehogs are fast disappearing from our towns and countryside, but thankfully there are lots of things you can do to help hedgehogs in your garden and every bit will help protect these lovely creatures.

Make a Hedgehog Highway and label it
Top Tips:

Link your garden with a Hedgehog Highway
Make your pond safe for 'hogs with a ramp
Create a wild corner for 'hogs to nest and feed in
Pick up litter to stop 'hogs getting trapped
Put food and water out for hedgehogs
Don't use chemicals in the garden that could harm 'hogs
Always check for 'hogs before strimming or mowing
Always check bonfires for 'hogs before burning
Build a logpile in your garden for 'hogs to feed and nest in
Make your own hedgehog house for nesting 'hogs

Hedgehog Street is a joint campaign from the People's Trust for Endangered Species and the British Hedgehog Preservation Society. Help hedgehogs today and sign up to be a hedgehog champion.
