Preview Of Harrogate Autumn Flower Show

The nights are starting to draw in and the days are getting shorter which can only mean that autumn is upon us.

The autumn Harrogate Flower Show is taking place on 14-16 September at the Great Yorkshire Showground. Always a good day out the show celebrates the season. With amazing floral displays, over 5,000 beautiful autumn blooms, wonderful fruit and veg plus plenty of ideas for planning a new year in your garden.

Features at this year's autumn show include Plants of Pleasure which explores the origin of plants often considered naughty but nice. There will also be the FEAST! Cookery Theatre plus a chance to taste a range of plant based tipples; they say too that it is possible to have a chocolate garden!

Expect to see the large vegetables in the vegetable competition. From colossal cucumbers to podgy pumpkins you will be surprised to see how big these specimens can grow.

Advance tickets are cheaper than buying your ticket on the day, however applications for advance tickets close on Tuesday 4 September, prices start from £17.50 instead of £20.00
