Review: Bradford easyGym

You know the situation - Christmas has passed, you get on the weighing scales and see that suddenly the extra pounds have crept on. New Years resolutions such as to go to the gym and get fit usually fizzle out by the end of January.

I have to say though that by the end of January after nearly 4 weeks I am still going to easyGym, I feel a lot fitter than before Christmas and I am enjoying the experience too.

The easy brand shows no sign of stopping at airplanes and hotels with the launch last year of easyGym in Bradford.

Yes, you've guessed right - there is plenty of orange around. The Bradford gym is situated opposite the Broadway shopping centre in Arndale House and is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. They offer free parking too in the Broadway car park which is very handy.

The first floor gym has a burger restaurant and pastry shop situated underneath it - there is nothing more satisfying than burning off the calories whilst those eating below you are most likely piling on the pounds!

The bay windows provide natural light and the music playing seems to aid you to move faster. The Precor equipment is at the top end of the market and the best thing is that it is all in working order and I found everything well maintained.

The large cardio zone has resistance machines and free weights. For female guests there is a Lady Zone. The Pack 45 daily classes appear to be very popular too when I have been training.

Sledge Prowler Packs along with Assault Air Bikes and Air Runners add to the range of facilities on offer.

Personal trainers are on hand and there always seems to be someone around to help you use the equipment if you are unfamiliar with anything.

Because the gym is so large it never feels packed. Apparently World Champion boxer Tasif Khan trains at the Bradford easyGym.

The main thing though is at the end of a month's using easyGym the pounds have dropped off, I feel fitter and it has been an enjoyable experience which I intend to keep up.

Prices per month are £14.99 with no contract and no joining fee.
