Yorkshire-based Active Security Solutions North Yorkshire Ltd has begun a three-year contract to deliver stewarding, security and crowd safety services for Hull City home fixtures at the MKM Stadium.

Active Security is providing spectator safety stewards and supervisors alongside SIA-licensed security personnel. Its teams will support access management, crowd movement, incident response and the overall safety and experience of supporters, players and staff.

The 24,470-capacity MKM Stadium welcomes thousands of supporters for Hull City home fixtures. Active Security will work closely with the club and its existing matchday operation to help deliver safe, welcoming and efficiently managed events.
The appointment is expected to create around 100+ local matchday roles, with recruitment and training opportunities available for people looking to begin or develop careers in spectator safety and security.

The contract builds on Active Security’s continued expansion across Yorkshire and the North of England, with its workforce supporting professional sporting venues, festivals and other large-scale events.

Founded in Scarborough in 2016, Active Security Solutions North Yorkshire Ltd provides security, stewarding, crowd management and facilities support services to businesses, venues and organisations across the region.

The partnership began successfully with Active Security’s first deployment at the MKM Stadium for Hull City’s fixture against Premier League side Manchester United.
The match, which ended in a 2–0 victory for Hull City, saw Active Security’s teams deliver stewarding, security and crowd safety services across the stadium, marking a positive start to the three-year contract.
