Three New Hotel Openings in Ottawa’s Pipeline
Canada’s capital keeps consolidating its diverse accommodation offering with three new hotel openings in the pipeline:

AC Marriott Ottawa: opening in Autumn 2024, the hotel includes 159 sophisticated guestrooms, an AC Kitchen restaurant, outdoor patio, sauna, gym and a pool.

Moxy Marriott Ottawa: opening in Spring 2025, the hotel includes 224 guestrooms, a restaurant and summer patio as well as a pool and gym.

Located in the ByWard Market in the heart of the entertainment district, both properties will be centrally located and within walking distance of the Rideau Centre and Rideau Station.

A third property, Renaissance Ottawa is scheduled to open in Autumn 2027.

Spine-chilling fun arrives at Saunders Farm
Saunders Farm has announced that the iconic Sawmill Haunt, previously featured at Lansdowne, will find a new permanent home at the award-winning 100-acre farm attraction in Ottawa's countryside.

The Sawmill Haunt will debut on-site at the A Midsummer Night's Scream event, running on August 9 and 10 from 6.00 - 10.00 pm, and will be a key feature at the fair's annual FrightFest this autumn from September 21 to October 31. Get ready for a heart-pounding, immersive experience as the Sawmill Haunt takes its place among seven terrifying haunts.
