A multi-award-winning healthcare recruitment business has inspired the launch of a new industrial company that aims to raise standards across construction, manufacturing, food production and logistics.

CCP Industrial has been established by Care Connection Partners founder Deborah Stock in partnership with Ian Horan, who will lead the business as Operations Director – combining a proven people-first approach with more than 30 years of construction industry experience.

The new company will supply fully-vetted, highly-trained workers to businesses across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire, applying the same principles that have helped Care Connection Partners become one of the country’s most respected healthcare recruitment businesses.

Founded by Deborah in 2021, Care Connection Partners has delivered more than 1.3 million hours of care and won a string of regional and national awards for its approach to recruitment.

Now, Deborah believes those same values – placing people, relationships and quality training ahead of simply filling vacancies – can help transform recruitment within the industrial sector.

Ian has over three decades of experience across the UK construction industry, including helping to build and project manage the train station for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

He said: “Too often, businesses don’t really know who is turning up on site. Agencies can become focused on filling vacancies as quickly as possible, rather than making sure they’re sending the right people.

“We’re taking a completely different approach. Every person we place will meet us face-to-face, go through a thorough induction and understand exactly what’s expected of them before they ever arrive on site. That level of investment simply doesn’t happen often enough currently.

“People are far more than numbers on a spreadsheet or simply ‘arms and legs’ to fill a vacancy. They’re individuals with families, ambitions and responsibilities. If we invest in them properly, they’ll represent us and our clients properly too.

“The industrial sector deserves that level of professionalism. Businesses need people they can trust and workers deserve an agency that genuinely supports them.”

Hull-based Care Connection Partners has grown from a start-up into one of the country’s leading independent healthcare recruitment businesses, winning the Best for Recruitment, Training, Retention and Motivation at the national Care Sector Supplier Awards and the Growth Award at the Hull and East Yorkshire Business Awards.

Most recently, it won the People’s Choice Award for Yorkshire at the National Family Business of the Year Awards, finishing fifth nationally in the public vote, and was runner-up in the Health and Welfare Family Business category.

The company’s #feelthelove ethos underpins every aspect of the business, reflecting its commitment to exceptional customer service and meaningful relationships.

Deborah launched Care Connection Partners after witnessing first-hand the shortcomings of the care system while supporting members of her own family. She believes the lessons learned through building the business are equally relevant beyond healthcare.

Deborah, who is now also Managing Director of CCP Industrial, said: “Care Connection Partners has never been about simply filling shifts. We’ve always believed recruitment is about finding the right people for the right organisation, building genuine relationships and creating partnerships that benefit everyone involved.

“I firmly believe those same principles apply just as much in construction, manufacturing and every other industry.

“Too often recruitment becomes transactional. The question is simply, ‘Who can start on Monday?’ We think businesses should be asking a much more important question: ‘Who's the right fit for our organisation?’

“Skills and qualifications will always matter, but attitude, professionalism, communication and shared values matter just as much.

“When businesses choose recruitment partners who care as much about values as vacancies, everybody benefits.”

Deborah said opportunities through CCP Industrial could also lead to permanent employment for candidates wishing to develop their careers.

She added: “We’ve spent the last few years at Care Connection Partners proving recruitment can be done differently. It doesn’t have to be about simply supplying labour. It can be about creating long-term partnerships, supporting people throughout their careers and helping businesses build stronger teams.

“That’s exactly what we’re bringing to CCP Industrial. The sector may be different, but the principles are exactly the same.”

CCP Industrial will ensure every worker receives first aid and manual handling training, together with comprehensive inductions covering communication, professionalism and workplace expectations.

The company will also carry out rigorous compliance checks to ensure candidates hold the appropriate qualifications and certifications, including Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards where required, giving employers confidence that workers are fully prepared from their first day on site.
