BOOST&Co, a company which provides fast, flexible funding to UK SMEs, is continuing to grow its regional presence as it appoints Michael Collins to the Yorkshire team as Business Development Manager. The addition comes after a period of significant growth for the business, across the entirety of its UK deal-sourcing team.

Michael Collins, who was previously at Metro Bank, will be based in Leeds, working alongside Principal Adam Fearnley to drive deal activity in Yorkshire and the North East, helping even more SMEs achieve their funding ambitions. Collins will operate across both BOOST&Co and its sister company, Growth Lending, and will be the first deal-sourcer in the region representing Growth Lending.

After opening its first regional office in Manchester in 2018, BOOST&Co has continued to grow its regional offering and now has offices in Bristol, Reading, Cambridge, Leeds and Birmingham. The appointment of Collins is the second recent regional appointment, following the addition of Becky Blaymires to the Birmingham office, to help drive deal flow in the Midlands.

The independent asset manager offers loans ranging from £1m to £10m, covering a wide range of sectors, with a strong track record in technology, media and telecommunications (TMT). It has funded more than £500m across more than 130 deals to date and provided close to £200m under the government’s CBILS initiative to support SMEs during Covid-19.
