BGF-backed Celerity, the Manchester-based managed IT services provider, continues its ambitious growth strategy with the acquisition of Insight 2 Value (I2V), a specialist in intelligent automation and enterprise content management.
Celerity's latest acquisition brings together two complementary strengths: I2V's deep specialist expertise in IBM FileNet and Cloud Pak for Business Automation, and Celerity's scale across infrastructure, cloud, security and managed services. For customers, that means the same trusted team of specialists , now backed by a wider bench, round-the-clock support and the scale to take content and automation platforms forward - from containerisation and cloud migration, to intelligent document processing.
In particular, the acquisition will strengthen Celerity’s capacity to provide solutions that improve customer onboarding, complaints handling, case management and regulatory compliance, connecting content seamlessly to improve service delivery and accelerate customer-facing operations.
Craig Aston, CEO of Celerity, said: "We're thrilled to welcome Insight 2 Value to our team. This acquisition means our customers can now benefit from even more powerful solutions - combining intelligent automation and content-driven workflows with our cyber-resilient infrastructure. Together, we can help organisations streamline their most critical processes, reduce complexity, and ultimately deliver better experiences to their own customers.
“This is about giving our customers access to smarter, more integrated tools that tackle the challenges that matter most to your business."
Phil Hagen, Managing Director of Insight 2 Value, said: "Joining Celerity is a natural next step for Insight 2 Value. We’ve dedicated ourselves to helping businesses simplify experiences and deliver rapid value while mitigating common implementation challenges. Celerity gives I2V a platform to continue developing market-leading solutions and delivering exceptional client services for organisations of all sizes, whilst working alongside a wider team of exceptional talent and a service portfolio that complements everything we do."
Celerity has achieved accelerated growth since receiving a £15m investment from growth capital investors BGF in 2021, which has helped drive service diversification, strategic partnerships and complementary acquisitions. This transaction follows Celerity’s acquisition of Ranger4 in April 2026, taking the business’ headcount to a team of 107.
Harry Jones, partner at BGF, added: "This acquisition is an important milestone for Celerity that will further differentiate its service proposition. We look forward to seeing the value the combined business will deliver for its customers as it continues to scale."
