Leeds-based housebuilder Thomas Alexander Homes has celebrated the success of its charity golf day, held as part of the company’s ongoing fundraising drive for Meningitis Research Foundation.

Taking place at Oulton Hall Hotel in Leeds, the event was attended by 25 of the company's partners and suppliers for a day of golf and fundraising, which has taken Thomas Alexander Homes' gross fundraising total for the cause to £22,485, with more fundraising events planned for later in the year.

The fundraising campaign began in September 2025 with staff taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, hosting a race night and completing the London Marathon before enjoying the recent golf day, which included an auction of experience days, hotel stays and tickets to next month's British Open, as well as a raffle.

The golf day also saw a variety of prizes awarded to attendees, including a 4-ball visit to Oulton Hall for the winning team and a golf bag, clothing and vouchers for the three highest scoring competitors.

Alex Blease, Managing Director at Thomas Alexander Homes said: “Everyone at Thomas Alexander Homes is incredibly proud of what has been achieved so far. The golf day was a fantastic event and we are very grateful to all of our partners and suppliers who attended, sponsored, donated and supported the day.

“The Meningitis Research Foundation does vital work, so we are delighted to be able to contribute to it through a year-long fundraising effort. To have already raised more than £22,000 is a brilliant milestone and we're looking forward to continuing the campaign with more events planned for later this year.”
