Courtyard Dairy Launches Cheese Flavoured Tea
Director Kathy Swinscoe says:
"It is something we thought about many years ago.
"Yorkshire is very famous for both tea and Wensleydale cheese and we thought: how could we combine them - we'd have also got cricket in there too somehow if we could."

So working with food technology experts at Sheffield Hallam University, they developed a process to dry and powder the cheese-flavour so it could be enclosed in a tea bag and give the tea a real cheesy flavour.
Owner, Andy Swinscoe was thrilled with the outcome:
"It tastes delicious - so cheesy - we've spent a lot of time working on the project and we're thrilled to see it come to fruition."
