Croda Named Britain’s Most Admired Chemicals Company For The Tenth Time
Croda International Plc, the company that uses smart science to create high-performance ingredients and solutions that improve lives, has been voted Britain’s Most Admired Chemicals Company for the tenth time, reinforcing one of the most consistent and distinguished records of peer reputation in the UK chemicals industry. The recognition extends Croda’s run of sector leadership, having now secured gold every consecutive year since 2017, and reflects sustained confidence among senior industry peers, financial analysts and City commentators in the company’s leadership, strategy and long-term value creation.
Britain’s Most Admired Companies, run by Echo Research in partnership with the London Stock Exchange, is the UK’s longest-running and only peer-reviewed survey of corporate reputation and is now in its 36th year. Fieldwork for the 2025 study was conducted between July and October 2025. This year’s study gathered insight from more than 350 CEOs, C-suite directors, financial analysts and City commentators, who assessed 260 leading UK companies across 28 sectors.
Participants rated companies against 13 drivers of corporate reputation, and Croda’s tenth sector gold reflects exceptional consistency of peer confidence, this year leading the sector in 11 of the 13 reputation criteria.
Steve Foots, CEO of Croda said:
“Being consistently recognised as Britain’s most admired company in our sector is a powerful endorsement of our people and our purpose-led strategy. It reflects the trust placed in Croda by our peers and our continued focus on innovation, sustainability and long-term value creation.” Sandra Macleod, Group CEO at Echo Research, said: “Ten sector gold wins, including an uninterrupted run since 2017, reflect deep and sustained peer confidence in Croda’s leadership, strategy and ability to deliver long-term value. It is an outstanding reputation record.”
