As a Bradford-based business, Expect has grown in tandem with the city, investing in sustainable practices and nurturing strong local relationships that reflect Bradford’s rich history and bright future. Becoming a Bradford 2025 partner aligns naturally with Expect’s core values of ethical business, environmental responsibility, and community engagement.

Led by a dedicated CSR committee, Expect is devoted to minimising environmental impact, creating a positive workplace, and actively supporting local communities. Their partnership with Bradford 2025 will amplify these efforts, engaging employees and stakeholders alike in a landmark cultural celebration that will shape the city’s legacy.

“Bradford 2025 is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our city on the national stage, and we’re thrilled to contribute to its success,” said Matthew Kilner, Co-owner, and Managing Director of Expect Distribution. “As a Bradford-based company, we’re deeply committed to seeing our community thrive and are proud to support an initiative that celebrates the spirit, diversity, and potential of Bradford. We began this support journey in 2021 when we backed the Bradford Bid group submitting the entry for the accolade.”

Beginning in January 2025, Bradford will become the UK’s fourth City of Culture, following Derry/Londonderry, Hull, and Coventry. Bradford 2025 will showcase the rich history of the district and spotlight its dynamic contemporary culture in all forms and is a celebration of Bradford city and district. Bradford 2025 will have a lifelong impact through its reshaping of the local curriculum, skills and training programmes, investment in existing and new creative spaces, and open up opportunities for cultural participation.
