Skipton-based mobility specialist Fenetic Wellbeing has raised £15,000 in donations for the MS Society as it celebrates its fourth consecutive year of donating a percentage of all product sales to the charity.

First appointed as Fenetic Wellbeing’s charity partner in 2021, the partnership sees contributions made to the MS Society quarterly, underlining the business’ long term commitment to supporting improved wellbeing, mobility and independent living.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that affects the brain and spinal cord. Funds raised help the MS Society deliver vital research, support services and campaigning for over 150,000 people living with MS across the UK.

Discussing the charity partnership, Thomas Appelbee, Co-founder of Fenetic Wellbeing, said: “Partnering with the MS Society closely aligns with our mission, and we’re incredibly proud to reach this £15,000 milestone. With more than 75%1 of people living with MS reporting mobility challenges, including walking difficulties and balance issues, this is a charity particularly close to our hearts and our commitment to providing affordable accessibility solutions.

“We look forward to continuing our support through quarterly donations from product sales, as well as local initiatives such as the Progressive MS Community event, which demonstrates first-hand the impact these contributions have.”

Barbara Spreadborough, Head of Partnerships at the MS Society, added: "We're so thankful to Fenetic Wellbeing for its continued support. To reach £15,000 in donations is an amazing achievement. With more than 135 people diagnosed with MS each week, unfortunately, we still don't have treatments that slow or stop disability progression for everyone. The money raised will go towards our vital work supporting anyone affected by MS and funding life-changing research. We are dedicated to creating a future where no-one has to worry about their MS getting worse."

The MS Society is the UK charity dedicated to supporting those affected by MS, with local groups across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and the free MS helpline. For 70 years the MS Society has been at the forefront of support, research, and campaigning to improve the lives of people with MS.

Founded more than 15 years ago, Fenetic Wellbeing remains independently owned as it continues to focus on providing accessible, affordable and reliable solutions to support people in Yorkshire and beyond.
