Former Firefighter Launches Nootropic Drink Range To Boost Brain And Body Health
A former firefighter has launched a range of health-focused soft drinks designed to provide vitamin supplementation without the need for handfuls of pills.
VitClear, founded by Ralph Burrows, offers three nootropic sodas targeting brain health, gut health and active health. Each drink contains up to 21 essential vitamins and minerals alongside natural compounds claimed to support cognitive function and physical performance.
The idea emerged from Burrows' experience as a firefighter, where he identified a need for convenient, on-the-go hydration that delivered nutritional benefits. As an active rower and rugby player, he was determined to create drinks that supported peak performance without relying on caffeine.

Working with scientists and formulators, Burrows developed drinks enhanced with time-tested nootropics – substances believed to support bodily function and sharpen cognition. Unlike traditional soft drinks that rely on caffeine, VitClear uses natural alternatives including lion's mane mushroom, ginseng, ashwagandha and turmeric extract.
The range includes a tropical peach-flavoured Brain Health drink, a mango and lychee Gut Health option containing probiotics and prebiotics, and a guava and passion fruit Active Health variety with amino acids and creatine. All three are naturally low in sugar and free from artificial additives.
The family-run business has partnered with several athletes, including undefeated London boxer Alireza "Razor Ali" Ghadiri and world champion racing driver Kaï Rillaerts. VitClear also sponsored the British Youth & Open National Waterski Championships.
The company emphasises its environmental credentials, offsetting 5kg of CO2 for every online order and supporting tree planting and ocean plastic recovery initiatives. All cans are manufactured in the UK and are fully recyclable without plastic sleeving.
