Friday's Re-launches In Doncaster

Fridays Doncaster will be added to an exclusive group of Famous at Fridays restaurants*, where guests will be greeted with a new look and brand new ‘Famous at Fridays’ menu. Core to the simplified and enhanced menu will be an investment in quality, fresh ingredients and a focus on provenance.

Initially launched at six UK locations, Fridays is expanding the new brand to its Doncaster site from Tuesday 1st September, bringing some exciting changes as Fridays goes back to its roots and celebrates its unique heritage.

Fridays first opened in New York in 1965 with flowing cocktails and charismatic bartenders making every night feel like a Friday. Over 55 years later, it’s making Fridays famous again and proudly celebrating its unique heritage.

Fridays is proud to offer beef which is certified Scotch and has been grass-fed on quality assured farms throughout Scotland. Steaks are hand-selected by master butchers to ensure they are exceptionally tender and flavoursome. Ribeye and sirloin steaks are 28 day aged to add to the natural flavour. The introduction of certified Scotch Beef is endorsed by Quality Meat Scotland (the Quality Assurance certification body).

Its new menu will include the triumphant return of Pot Stickers and the classic Cobb Salad as well as Potato Skins, which were invented by Fridays, and are now bigger and better than before thanks to the use of upgraded ingredients.

The Doncaster restaurant has also simplified its cocktail menu and re-introduced some classics, all served in elegant glassware and garnished with flare by expert bartenders. Whether guests are in the mood for a timeless Negroni, a playful Aperol Spritz, or an indulgent Espresso Martini, Fridays has something for every occasion.

Speaking about the new Famous at Fridays menu, Robert B. Cook, Fridays CEO, said:
“We are thrilled to be adding Fridays Doncaster to the exclusive group of Famous at Fridays restaurants which celebrate everything we are famous for.

As part of these exciting changes, we have invested in the return of classic dishes made with quality ingredients and we’re proud to introduce Quality assured Scotch Beef and Red Tractor certified chicken to our menu. We are re-energising our iconic bars where new and classic cocktails handcrafted by our expert bartenders brings excitement and theatre, all of which will be complemented by consistently brilliant Fridays service and spirit.”

It looks to be another first for Yorkshire.
