God’s Own Caravan: World’s First Yorkshire-inspired Holiday Home Launches

Yorkshire-based Victory Leisure Homes has announced its latest holiday home model - ‘God’s Own Caravan’ - today (1st April), which looks to bring a taste of Yorkshire to holidaymakers across the UK.

A world first, God’s Own Caravan is packed full of every feature a true Yorkshire lad or lass could possibly need – from a Yorkshire Tea tap for the perfect brew to a dedicated flat cap stand (or ‘a place fo t’cap’).

Other features include:

An in-built Yorkshire pudding tin in the oven – an essential for any roast dinner
Smart t’eating – with ‘nithered’ and ‘maftin’ pre-sets
A ‘big light’ – well, it would be a bit dark otherwise
Yorkshire appropriate decorations – including framed photos of some of Yorkshire’s finest, including England cricket captain Joe Root and the Chuckle Brothers, as well as neon ‘ey up!’ signage


“Not everyone is lucky enough to be from Yorkshire, so we decided to create a caravan that would bring a piece of God’s own county to our customers – wherever they may be,” said Gary Corlyon, MD of Victory.


“We’re confident that this model will fly off t’shelves. But buyers will have to act fast, as this is a limited-edition product and will only be available for purchase until midday on 1st April.”
