Huddersfield-based software company Adventoris has launched a new B2B sales application for Tilda Rice, a global food brand. The app, built on Adventoris' SwiftCloud platform, aims to digitalise Tilda's order processing for its wholesale and independent trade partners.
The application allows Tilda's partners to place orders, browse products, access technical information, and contact the company around the clock. This initiative replaces a previous manual order capturing process, which Tilda states led to frequent entry mistakes and audit difficulties due to varied order formats like email, phone calls, and WhatsApp.
Henda van der Walt, e-commerce controller at Tilda Rice, stated that the move to the SwiftCloud platform was driven by a need to "futureproof the business by introducing a digital solution to ensure 24/7 access". She added that customers can now "order from us with ease, anytime, anywhere".
Tilda Rice, which became the first UK rice company to achieve B Corp certification last year, is in the process of onboarding clients to the new platform, which features approximately 200 products. The company is utilising SwiftCloud’s Sales Manager module to assist with the transition, enabling its sales team to process orders directly within the new system and access field notes, reports, and order history.
Gregg Finlay-Martin, head of customer success at Adventoris, noted the positive feedback from Tilda's customers during the transition. He emphasised that SwiftCloud aims to enhance "efficiency, consistency and accuracy for our customers," thereby fostering stronger customer relationships.
Adventoris, founded in 2012 by James Clarkson, employs 50 staff at its Huddersfield headquarters. The firm provides services to 227 clients, including companies such as Pepsi Co., STAEDTLER, and AG BARR.
