Idyllic Slow Living Sardinia Style
Five-star eco-conscious Italian boutique hotel, Le Dune Piscinas, reopens in Sardinia for its second season on April 18th, following its successful 2024 debut.
On the southwestern coast of Sardinia, in the ‘comune’ of Arbus, in the unspoiled Costa Verde—a 47-kilometre stretch of golden dunes and crystal-clear Mediterranean waters—the boutique hotel invites guests to embrace time with themselves, and absorb the luxury of slow living in Sardinia’s hidden wonders.
This season brings in a new breeze and sees the arrival of newly appointed chef Angelo Biscotti who will immerse guests in the island’s authentic simplicity with produce from the area.
About an hour from Cagliari, the drive from the airport takes you through hills, ancient forests, endless fields and villages to Arbus, where the UNESCO-listed Ingurtosu Mining Park is home to the remains of a 19th-century European mine.
A typical seaside sandy-track road from Ingurtosu then takes you to Piscinas, where the gently rise and fall of the golden dunes and wild vegetation meet the gently lapping waves of the Mediterranean sea, just steps away in the fine sand from where you will wake up, in Le Dune Piscinas.
The three restaurant property began life as a simple warehouse for mining materials awaiting sea transport and is now a luxurious retreat inaugurated in April 2024 that harmoniously blends history, nature and modern elegance.
This five-star luxury boutique hotel is nestled on the beach. Its twenty-eight elegantly appointed rooms and suites offer breathtaking views of the sea and
dunes.
Starting rate: €480 per night.
