Keyland Developments Ltd, the property trading arm of Kelda Group, and sister-company to Yorkshire Water, has entered into a Planning Promotion Agreement (PPA) for land in Hasland, North East Derbyshire to bring forward a potential new residential development.

The agreement represents a significant milestone for Keyland, marking the company’s first PPA secured outside Yorkshire, demonstrating its continued commitment to growth and its geographic expansion.

The site, located to the north of Mansfield Road, comprises greenfield land currently in agricultural use and sits within the administrative boundary of North East Derbyshire District Council.

Keyland will now progress its planning strategy, including engagement with the local planning authority and the promotion of the site through the emerging Local Plan processes. Under the terms of the agreement, Keyland will work in partnership with the landowner and its consultant team to promote the site through the planning process, with the aim of securing planning permission for residential development at the earliest opportunity. This approach is designed to maximise the site’s potential and bring forward a deliverable and sustainable scheme in due course.
