In total, 15 new people have been hired across four teams, taking the total number of employees to 46. The teams joined are marketing, delivery, design, and SEO. The new recruits include Yasmin Russell as head of marketing and Laura Mansfield as head of design.

Yasmin will be responsible for developing, defining and building on the holistic marketing proposition of the business, and will support the board on the digital marketing direction of Engage. She will also be the strategic lead on the Grace Foods UK account.

As head of design, Laura will drive the creative vision for the design team and the wider business. She will contribute to the development of the brand definition across key client accounts, and take accountability for online design and the success of the design and creative departments.

Commenting on her new role as head of design, Laura said: “It’s an exciting time to join Engage, with significant growth across the business. I’m really looking forward to working with the design team and the wider agency to drive strong results for clients, and new business opportunities.”

Engage has invested in new talent thanks to the growth that it has experienced over the past year. The SEO team in particular has expanded significantly, with a 50% increase in the number of team members since the beginning of 2021.

Alex Willcocks, managing director at Engage, added: “Investing in recruitment and new talent is not only important for delivering results for clients and securing new business, but it also drives team morale as they feel part of a company that’s growing and thriving. People are our most valuable asset and our latest hires will positively contribute to our culture, business and client accounts. It’s been brilliant to see how everyone has integrated into the agency, and I can’t wait to find out how each of them shapes Engage over the coming months.”

The new recruits will work on well-known clients across a range of sectors, including Grace Foods UK, Whitbread, Yorkshire Tea and London Square.
