Local Digital Marketing Agency Named Leeds Startup Of The Year At North East, Yorkshire And The Humber Startup Awards

Local digital marketing agency Audience has been named as the Leeds StartUp of the Year at the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber finals of the StartUp Awards 2023 on Thursday 11th May.

Backed by Yorkshire entrepreneur Tim Whitworth, Audience has quickly become established as a leading digital marketing agency across the region, led by a team of young marketing experts.

Chloe Byrne, Creative Director of Audience, said: “I am extremely proud that Audience was recognised as Leeds Start Up of the Year! This month marks two years since the business began, and it’s absolutely incredible to look back on just how far we’ve come.

“As a small business, we have maintained a great client base and expanded our service range to gain brilliant momentum within the marketing industry. I want to congratulate our brilliant team on this award and all of their achievements in the last couple of years – I am wholeheartedly excited for the future of Audience.”

The StartUp Awards were established in 2022 to highlight the success of startups across nine UK nations and regions, and to celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.

The North East, Yorkshire and the Humber final was held at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle and saw 33 different awards given out to new and innovative businesses.

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, creator of the awards, said: “In the second year of the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber Startup Awards, we have seen yet again the incredible contribution of new businesses to job creation, innovation, and prosperity across the whole of this entrepreneurial nation.

“It’s been an honour and a pleasure to read the stories of those individuals from across North East, Yorkshire and the Humber who have spotted the opportunity and taken the risk to launch their own venture, especially at a time when the economy is still fragile after the Covid pandemic.”
