Pegasus World, the West Yorkshire-based trading, logistics, and investment group, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an industry event in London’s West End.

The gala, scheduled for Tuesday 30 June at the Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall, will be attended by industry executives alongside the Chairman of the Conservative Party, the Rt Hon Kevin Hollinrake MP, who is attending as guest of honour.

Headquartered at the 75,000 sq ft Curo House facility within the Logic Leeds business park near Junction 45 of the M1 motorway, Pegasus World was founded in 2006 by University of York graduate Ivan Zhou. The milestone follows the publication of record-breaking financial results for the group's most recent trading year.

The company has grown organically from its origins as a regional textile importer into a multi-divisional corporation spanning five operations: Pegasus Group, Pegasus Textiles, Pegasus Investment, Curo Fulfilment, and Curo Freight. Its core business includes the international sourcing and supply of commercial textiles, medical consumables, and hygiene products.

The expansion of its logistics capabilities led to the launch of Curo Fulfilment, which operates as a third-party logistics (3PL) and warehousing provider within the North of England's regional supply chain network.

Ivan Zhou, Founder and CEO of Pegasus World, said: “Our 20th anniversary party, to be held in the magnificent surroundings of the RAC Club, is a very important landmark in the company’s history. It not only celebrates what we have achieved, but also enables us to thank everyone who has made our achievements possible.

“We are honoured to have the chairman of the Conservative Party, Kevin Hollinrake MP, as our guest of honour. Kevin has been a loyal and supportive friend of Pegasus since our early days and we are delighted he can join us on the very special occasion.

“The pursuit of excellence is at the heart of everything we do at Pegasus. This is demonstrated by the quality of our products, our rapid but sustainable growth and our commitment to create a business culture founded on trust, respect and integrity. We are very proud of the relationships we have with our customers, our suppliers and our staff.

“Our business is built on the key pillars of passion, commitment, aspiration and vision. These have enabled us to grow – from humble beginnings - into a respected player in the textiles’ world.

“We do business in a way that minimises environmental and social impact. Environmental degradation and inadequate social conditions are among the biggest threats to a brighter global future.

“The significant increase in turnover during the past 12 months is a resounding endorsement of what we do and a wonderful reflection on the hard work and commitment of our employees.

“We are exceptionally proud of what we have achieved over the past 20 years, creating new and sustainable jobs and providing a significant and timely boost to the economy in Leeds. Now we are looking forward to the next 20 years with confidence and hope.”
