Progeny Launches A Summer School Programme

Interested in a career in financial services?

Leeds-based professional services company, Progeny, is offering a summer school programme for 16 to 18 year olds, designed to give an insight into life as a financial planner and all the supporting roles that sit behind the scenes.

The five-day course will allow the participants to rotate through Progeny’s various departments involved within financial planning, to give them a taste of the opportunities available within the sector.

Running from 1st to 5th August 2022, the programme is open to 16 to 18 year old students based in or around the Leeds area, who are interested in learning more about a career in financial services.

Head of Advice Quality, Sarika Dhanjal comments:

“Financial services is not the most visible career option for students, especially young women, so we want to help change that. Our summer school aims to give a taste of the opportunities available at a time when students are making a decision about their future direction. Going to university is not the only way to enter a professional career and we intend to keep in touch with these talented individuals, to build a recruitment pipeline of future candidates.”

Those aged between 16-18, who would like to attend the summer school to find out more about working within financial services, can access the application form here.

Attendees would need to be available to come into Leeds city centre from August 1st-5th, 9.30am-3.30pm each day. The application deadline is Wednesday 20th July.
