On Saturday 10th February 2024 Bradford Cathedral held its seventh annual ‘CathedralSing!’ event, where children from local schools were invited along to discover more about the choir and singing at Bradford Cathedral.

The event followed visits by Bradford Cathedral’s Music Department to various local primary schools in the city, where they ran special inclusive singing workshops with school children in different years. These workshops included how to work on singing technique, and they practised singing rounds and how to sing in harmony.

Graham Thorpe, Director of Music at Bradford Cathedral, says:
“We had a wonderful time at Cathedral Sing! on Saturday 10th February. About 25 children from schools all over Bradford and their parents attended, to learn more about singing and find out how to join the Cathedral's choirs.

“If you weren't able to attend but are still interested in finding out more, please contact Graham Thorpe, Organist and Director of Music, on graham.thorpe@bradfordcathedral.org.”
