Puttstars Celebrates Birthday & Victory Over Covid!

An indoor crazy golf centre which faced the ultimate Covid battle shortly after opening, has formally celebrated its first birthday with a packed VIP event in Leeds.

Puttstars, which is located in The Springs at Thorpe Park, has been welcoming guests to its unique indoor mini golf experience since March 2020.

But, as quickly as it sought to establish itself, Covid was kicking back, forcing the centre to periodically close.

However, despite the setbacks, the centre has pushed on and, with restrictions formerly lifted, has now celebrated more than a year of immersive entertainment in the city…..with a VIP night and golf course cake!

Lynne Watson, Centre Manager at Puttstars Leeds, said: “Although restrictions and governmental guidelines have lifted, Puttstars continues to put the health and safety of its customers at the very front of its priorities with its Have Fun, Play Safe messaging.

“Team members at the centre continue to wear face coverings for customer comfort, with guests encouraged to respect other customers who decide to continue wearing them.“We are all about bringing friends and families together. And just as the restrictions have lifted, we are absolutely thrilled to have been hosting a VIP night on the occasion of our first ever birthday celebrations. We can’t wait to welcome more customers.”

Choosing from one of three 9-hole courses, visitors can take advantage of a fully digitised scoring system, with high-tech screens at each hole to keep track of points around the course.
