The award-winning Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster, is setting its own Eggsample this weekend with the launch of a three-week programme of events for the kids.

Running until Monday 21st of April, visitors can enjoy an array of daily shows at the Auckley attraction including Victor’s Big Adventure, The Jungle Book Live Show and Pirates of Pantaloon Bay, all included in the entry price.
There is also a Jungle Book themed Easter trail.

“It brings an interactive element for families to their day at the Wildlife Park Resort, seeing amazing animals from around the world whilst enjoying all the other activities on offer.”

Easter visitors will be amongst the first to meet Bindi the Crowned Lemur. The 12 year old arrived from Suffolk but has quickly settled into her new home at Lemur Woods, where she was introduced to YWP’s lemur Loko on the recommendation of the European Endangered Species Programme.

They both live in Lemur Woods, a woodland walk-through reserve at the park, home to three different species of lemur: Crowned, Ring-Tailed and Red-Bellied Lemurs.

The park offers a unique chance to meet some of its rarest animals through the unforgettable Animal Experiences initiative.

Visitors can watch lemurs jump through the trees, find out more about them at the ranger talk and feeding time and discover exciting facts about the endangered species.

YWP prides itself on its global conservation efforts, working closely with the WildLife Foundation, the charity based at the park.

The park, which puts conservation at the heart of all its activities, offers visitors a walk-through experience coming almost face-to-face with some of the world’s most beautiful and at-risk species, including Polar Bears, Black Rhinos, Giraffes and African Painted Dogs.

After a fun-filled day, kids can stay for free at YWP’s Hex Wildlife Hotel.
