Victory Leisure Homes Supports Levelling Up In Region With Immersive Career Event
Holiday homes manufacturer Victory Leisure Homes is inviting residents in Hull and East Yorkshire looking for a change in career to its upcoming open day, as it looks to further support the upskilling and ‘levelling up’ of the Yorkshire region.
Taking place on 12th June from 10am-2pm, the day will give those looking for a new career a real feel for working life at one of the region’s top manufacturers, as the company prepares to hire new team members within the production team.
As well as receiving a full tour of the 90,000sq ft Victory site, those attending will also be able to meet the company’s management team and explore its range of luxurious, high-end holiday homes.
There will also be a Q&A session for those interested in working at Victory, with the chance to learn more about the business from managing director, Gary Corlyon.
Based in Gilberdyke, the Victory site has excellent public transport links - located just minutes away from both the M62 and A63. Gilberdyke’s train station is also a short walk away from Victory’s site.
With competitive salaries and a travel allowance available for staff, team members can also enjoy employee perks, such as a four day working week – helping to promote the importance of a good work-life balance - and free fish and chips throughout the year!
Gary Corlyon, managing director, said: “We’re hoping that the careers day will give people the chance to see what working life at Victory is like, and the great working culture that has been cultivated here.
“Those that apply don’t need to be experienced in the caravan manufacturing industry; we’re looking for team members with a positive, can-do attitude, that are willing to learn. At Victory, we give you the tools you need to progress and the earning potential here is fantastic. As a business, we’ve grown a lot recently, so we’re looking for the right people to join us as we continue to expand.
“Whether you’re looking to upskill, or looking for a change in career, we’d encourage you to come along and find out more.”
