Wren Becomes One Of The First UK Manufacturers To Achieve New BIFIS AiM Certification
Damian Walters, CEO, BIFIS, presents AiM Quality Mark at the Houses of Parliament to Amanda Smith, Installations Director, Wren, and Steve Hatfield, Head of Install Recruit & Performance, Wren.
Wren has become one of the first kitchen manufacturers in the UK to achieve the British Institute for Fitted Interior Specialists (BIFIS) Accredited Installation Methods (AiM) Quality Mark, following a rigorous independent audit of its installation operations and onsite fitting standards.
The prestigious accreditation recognises businesses that demonstrate excellence across every aspect of the installation journey, assessing not only the quality of workmanship on site but also the operational processes, governance and customer experience that underpin a professional installation service.
Developed by BIFIS to raise standards across the fitted interiors industry, AiM is designed to provide reassurance to consumers while promoting best practice, consistency and professionalism throughout the sector. AiM evaluates how a business manages and delivers its installation service from start to finish, including compliance, installer management, health and safety, customer communication and onsite installation standards.
The accreditation followed an intensive independent assessment of Wren's installation methodology, policies, procedures and operational controls, alongside onsite audits of installation standards carried out against recognised industry regulations and best practice.
For Wren, the achievement reflects years of investment in creating an installation proposition that places quality, consistency and customer experience at the heart of every project.
Amanda Smith, Director of Installations at Wren, said: "Achieving the AiM Quality Mark is a significant milestone for Wren and one I am incredibly proud of. Installation is one of the most important stages of the customer journey, and this independent accreditation demonstrates the strength of the processes, standards and people that support every Wren installation.
"Being recognised as one of the first manufacturers to achieve this certification reinforces our commitment to continually raising standards across the industry. It provides independent assurance that our installation service has been assessed against some of the highest standards currently available, giving both our customers and professional installers even greater confidence in the way we operate."
The certification complements Wren's existing portfolio of independently recognised quality standards and reinforces the company's ongoing investment in manufacturing excellence, customer service and professional installation.
As the fitted interiors industry continues to evolve, Wren remains committed to working with organisations such as BIFIS to drive continuous improvement, improve consumer confidence and help shape the future of professional furniture installation.
We are delighted to recognise Wren as one of the first national retailers to achieve the BIFIS AiM Accreditation. This demonstrates a clear commitment to raising standards, investing in best practice and delivering a consistently high-quality installation experience for customers. Wren's achievement reflects the values that AiM has created and their standard of excellence sets a strong benchmark for the wider fitted interiors industry.
